Program Manager - Southern California
The successful candidate will manage project scopes, scheduling, budgeting and design phase consultants for our K-12 clients. Extensive client interaction requires exceptional people, communication and presentation skills. Planning, architectural, engineering or construction project management background required. Experience with K-12 modernization and new construction programs a must. State (DSA, CDE, OPSC) and local agency experience highly preferred.
Contract Manager - Northern California
The successful candidate will draft contracts and amendments, work with the Sr. Contract Manager and/ or client attorneys to develop, review or modify contract language, research applicable contract language and legal codes, work with staff to develop contract scope, help implement uniform contracting practices, help train and consult with staff on contract processes and procedures, assist with drafting Statements of Work and Service Level Agreements, prepare Board agenda items, and negotiate contract terms with vendors. Bachelor's or equivalent education and experience required. Prior legal research experience and working familiarity with CA codes and case law (public contract, government, education, business & professions and commercial) highly preferred. Experience with architect, engineer, construction and other professional service agreements highly preferred. Must have the ability to communicate and influence sr. level internal decision makers. Must be detail oriented and have excellent organizational, problem solving, and analytical skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with precise and careful use of words a must.
