What It's Like to Work Here

Considering how many of our days are spent working, life is simply better when the work is meaningful, challenging, and accomplished with people who share one’s sense of joy and purpose. At CPM, we work collaboratively. Everyone has a say—and everyone is heard. We keep our doors open and strive first to understand.

We believe education is a path, not a destination. We have made personal and professional development an integral part of our culture. When our people thrive, our business and our clients also prosper.

Though we’re serious about producing great results, we believe fun and laughter are necessary ingredients for a great work environment. Throughout the year we host companywide events to celebrate successes, holidays, or simply each other’s company. We’re a tight-knit group who shares responsibility, pride in our work, and even family photos.

And at the end of the day, we leave our CPM family and join our families at home. We believe striking a balance between those two worlds is essential for a company with employees who wouldn’t want to work anywhere else.

CPM Receives Top 10
A+ Employer Award

CPM was voted as a Top 10 A+ Employer in Sacramento on October 29, 2009, in the small employers
(26 - 50 employees) category. As part of the Sacramento Business Journal Employees' Choice Awards, CPM was chosen out of 200 companies. Only 10 finalists in four different categories received awards. The A+ Employers awards are presented to the firms that rank the highest in a corporate survey and an employee satisfaction survey. Quantum Workplace conducted the research for the list asking employees to complete a 38-question online survey that asked questions covering work environment, work-life balance, job satisfaction, advancement opportunities, management, compensation and benefits.
