Introduction
The
District desired to enter into a CM at-Risk agreement for construction
of a new learning resources building at one (1) of its campuses,
and two (2) modernization projects at its other campus, but lacked
experience with the delivery method. CPM was hired to help the District’s
legal counsel negotiate the contract with Sundt Construction Company,
advise an appropriate fee structure for the projects and to evaluate
what risk was appropriate to assign to Sundt. CPM remains on board
to assist the Yuba CCD on an on-call basis.
