Interim Fire Station No. 7
PROJECT PHOTOS:
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The Woodside Fire Protection District has completed construction of Interim Fire Station 7 on the SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory site. This temporary fire station will be in operation for approximately 18 months while the new Fire Station 7 is reconstructed at 3111 Woodside Road. This facility is not open to the public. Access is through a secure automated gate at the Sand Hill Road and Whiskey Hill Road intersection.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
It is our goal to have no negative impact on our surrounding community. While the interim facility is not be visible from Sand Hill Road, a new secure automated gate has been installed, along with temporary traffic signs and road striping. Emergency responders will not sound their sirens or honk their horns on site and not until away from the intersection.
